Deaccessioning the Low Tide Drifters Collection

After a lot of thought and discussion, the Low Tide Drifters donors and I have decided to deaccession the collection. The Low Tide Drifters are an Oregon band and they are rooted in the Pacific Northwest. They sing about PNW people and PNW places. They have created a rich network of relationships in the area. It wouldn’t be right to take such a localized collection out of its community. This is one case when access is more important than preservation.

If you’re interested in learning more about the Low Tide Drifters or viewing the collection, please visit their website.
